My dad's mom, was Violeta Edna, nee Dearie. She married a Raymond A. Croker. My dad was born 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio. I think he had cousins in that town, from his mom's side, but lost contact with them after her death in either 1929 or 1930. We always thought Dearie was a Welsh name and don't know anything about our grandmother's family. I suspect Violeta was born around 1903 or so, my dad was her first and only child.
