as you see i'm a dearie and it is quite a rare surname, anyway, my father is called Thomas Dearie and was born in Scotland (faulhouse east lothian..it is a small mining town between glasgow and edinburgh. My granfather was called Patrick and his family came from Ireland.

By the way i married a sicilian and now live in Sicily.
