HI,
The Dearmonds were originally from France, they became Hugenots and were forced to flee France. They travelled to Ireland where many remained but some ventured to the US. They landed in North Carolina but because of the difficulty of owning land in North Carolina many left for South Carolina and Tennessee.
I will look in my records and see if I have any information about your family. I have a lot of information.
You can email me at mtmarilyn@yahoo.com if you are interested.
