I hope to see more DeArmond surname variant Y DNA carriers compare their results to mine on www.ysearch.org. Is the name derived from d'Armand, or merely from the common Irish name of Diarmid? Science can now provide the answer, but we need as many participants as possible to account for non-paternity issues, which are more common than most of us care to realize.
