My grandfather was David Eldridge D'Armond b. Roane county 1897, son of Samuel Jackson D'Armond and Anna Rose. It has been weird accepting that with a high probability, that my D'Armonds were IRISH not french. Bottom line: I am a North American Mongrel, that I always knew.
