Mrs. Stuart Deas: Vera Southby

I am seeking information about Vera Southby (born ca. 1896 in England). She married Stuart Deas (about whom I know nothing, including country of origin), and they lived in China in the 1920s-1930s. Vera Southby Deas was an artist, and continued to exhibit in London until the early 1960s.
Should you have any information or suggestions, I can be reached at cmm@vax2.concordia.ca
Many thanks,
Catherine
PS In English-language newspapers published in China, Vera Southby was sometimes described as Mrs. Stewart Dees, but most often (and therefore accurately???) as Mrs. Stuart Deas.
