I'm looking for the parents of ROBERT CARLISLE b.1780-90 , on 1830 censis Hancock Co
GA 1 male age 40-50 1 female 40-50
1 male 5-10 1 " 15-20
1 " 10-15
2 " 5-10
I believe that my 3G grandmother SARAH CARLISLE (b.1815 SC per later census) is the daughter
of Robert. She m. THOMAS K. WRIGHT of Hancock Co. LUCINDA CARLISLE, probably the
fem. age 10-15 (she was b. 1817GA) m. GEORGE WRIGHT , who lived next to Thomas in 1850
The son could well be BRANTLEY CARLISLE who m. ELIZABETH LAYFIELD,dau of JOHN and
SARAH WALLER LAYFIELD of Hancock c. 1840. Brantley named a son Dawson and
Thomas and Sarah Wright's son, my ggrandfather, was Dawse Pierce Wright.
In 1839 an ELIZABETH CARLISLE m. ZEPHANIAH WALLER (his third) in neighboring Baldwin Co
Living in their HH in 1850 was HANNAH CARLISLE age 50. The age is off, but Elizabeth's (age 30
in 1850) matches one of the two young females in Robert's family. Hannah could be Elizabeth's
mother and is definitelly Robert's widow per his estate Co records 1836 ...I would appreciate any help with
this family. Thank you. Fay
