Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'm descended I believe , from Robert Carlisle, who was the only Carlisle on the census in Hancock Co in 1830. It was the only year he was listed there. He died in 1837, wife hannah ex'x, son in law George Wright aiding her, I see no reflection of Mary L."s children's names in Robert's family however.
Robert had daughters Sarah, b. 1815 m. Thomas Wright. They are my ancestors. Sarah's sister Lucinda m. George wright who lived next to Thomas but was not, apparently, his brother. George was in Washington Co GA in 1840, I think.
The census listing agrees with his family distribution in '50
Another Carlisle sister was Elizabbeth, who m, as his third wife Zephaniah Waller. In Washington Co ,adjacent to Hancock, there was a Matthew Carlisle with a family of children, son of Micajah Carlisle
I think Robert might be the Robert listed in Morgan Co GA 1820, but can't be sure.Let me know if you need more.
If you see this, please let me know if you have learned more. Robert has been a brick wall to me for years. Fay
