Hi William,
Well, I am back at my research and still getting nowhere,
but did come across an ELVRIA WHILDEN DC for 1891 Charleston, which listed HER as an octoroon; seems to perhaps explain just why I am NOT making ANY connections.
Don't recall if I sent you the DEAS census that makes me
think my WHILDEN/WHEELDON/BROWN AA/Native kin ARE CONNECTED.
Would LOVE to hear from you AGAIN!
