Hi, There,

Deas name has more than one starting point,

O Dea and Dease are large Irish clans that have spread around the world.

Dee and Dees often claim same starting pints but Dee has its own points of origin

In Fife you will find DEAS,Daes,Deis, Dease, but today only Deas is still in use. Many of the Deas who have Scots blood lines all start in Fife and in one part the North East corner, why this is we will never know.

Just to upset things a little some English Days have become Deas and some Spanish Deiz have become Deas there are some Deas in lowland Europe but it is possible that they could be from the Scots or Irish lines.

yours Steve
