Did some more research last night and I have my line narrowed down to this:

Janet Leigh DeAtley - Mother
Carrington Lee DeAtley - Grandfather
Joseph William DeAtley - G. Grandfather
William Lee DeAtley - G.G. Grandfather
William H.(Henry) DeAtley - G. G. Grandfather
They all resided in Northumberland County.

This is were it gets tricky. I found a document online that says that William Henry had two sisters named Olivia Ann and Julia Henrietta and that on Oct. 1 1832 there gaurdianship was given to Charlotte P. Hammock since there father William DeAtley was deceased. I think this is the family line. William H named one of his daughters Julia and i think he was born around 1827. Then there is another document from the same county Richmond that says on Feb 6th 1832 Fanny DeAtley, George DeAtley, Olivia DeAtley, Julia DeAtley and William Henry infants of William DeAtley, deceased, were granted to a Robert Scott, friend, by the court vs. Charlotte Hammack and William DeAtley.
Then on June 3rd 1833 Fanny and George were were granted gaurdianship by Robert Scott.

So it looks like William DeAtley died and three kids Julia, Olivia, and William Henry went to live with Charlotte Hammack, and Fanny and George went to live with Robert Scott.

So if anyone has any info on a William DeAtley of Richmond County, d. around 1832, I think that's where my line goes! I guess it's a start.
