Ron...thanx for the post. I was already aware of all of these alleged facts and of the affidavit of my great uncle Amos Crosby in 1947 who attested to a lot of the info. The problem is no one has yet produced a Will book number and page for a Will for Peter Deatrick/Detrick Jr. which is necessary to connect the lineage further. The Corydon county clerk was unable to find one this week and I will have to go back and look through the stacks again in hopes that there is one misfiled someplace. There is a Will book and page number referenced for Peter Sr's 1830-32 Will but not for Jr's from around 1863. I need that 1863 Will to link Peter Jr to his children. Has anyone got a specific reference for that 1860 era Will?
