Sylvanus (Salanis on marriage record) HARRELSON married SARAH ANN DEVER in Gallatin Co., IL on April 16, 1840. Believe she died in childbirth after birth of first child, WILLIAM MILES HARRELSON. THERE IS A WILLIAM DEAVER in Gallatin Co. in 1830 with daughters about the right age -- other Gallatin Co. marriage records list DEVER and DEVERS females. On 1850 census, there are DEAVERS, for example Michael age 30 and wife Elizabeth, age 22, both born in KENTUCKY. Anything known about these lines and heritage would be appreciated. Sarah Ann and Sylvanus are my direct ancestors.
