Hi Joe,
Thanks for letting me know about Nadia's question regarding Wm. Henry DEAVER (ca 1846-1915).
I don't have a copy of Wm. Henry DEAVER'S birth certificate, but another DEAVER researcher has him listed in the family Bible as Reuben Keith's sibling. I don't know what other siblings are listed there.

The census shows the two living in the same location in 1860:
(1) Wm. Henry DEAVER - State: NC, County: Cherokee Co., Location: Notta Dist., Page #: 394 Census/Enumeration year: 1860, Reuben DEAVER is listed on the same page.
(2) Reuben DEAVER - State: NC, County: Cherokee Co., Location: Notta Dist., Page #: 394, Census/Enumeration year: 1860.

Then there's WARD & BIDDIX, THE HERITAGE OF OLD BUNCOMBE COUNTY, Vol. II, 1987, NC, Pub. The Old Buncombe Co. Genealogical Society & Hunter Pub. Co., p.150,
"In Big Ivey [sic], NC in the year of 1846, William Henry Deaver was born. His parents died leaving him and a brother, Reuben. A great aunt took in the two boys. Both boys grew up and William settled in Asheville, Buncombe County, and Brother Reuben in Marshall, NC."

Also there's the lengthy narrative written by his daugher, Lottie (Charlotte) DEAVER ORR (1887-1965) & rewritten by her daughter Bernice (1924-1998), She describes Uncle Reuben & his visits to the Wm. Henry DEAVER family home.
