Yes, Esther Catherine Deaver (Apr 1848 - 17 Apr 1901)was the sister of my ancestor John Hamilton Deaver. They were the children of Lewis Singleton Deaver, Sr and Mary S. Chandler. She married Alexander Hawkins on 19 Jun 1881 I assume in Bell County, since these Deaver families came to Texas in 1877. Catherine, her father Lewis, and her brother Elijah are buried in Taylors Valley Cemetery in Bell County, which I have visited a number of times. Her mother Mary died in Tennga, GA not long after the Civil War. Many of the other Deavers from this family are buried at nearby Wilson Valley - Little River Cemetery. Ester shows up on the 1860 and 1870 census in Murray County, GA (Tennga) where the family lived during the Civil War. I have that she was born in TN, but it was likely Haywood County, NC. Ester and Alexander had the following children:
Rosie Alice Hawkins
Minnie Lee Hawkins
Mary Frances Hawkins
Elizabeth Iona Hawkins
