Cherokee County, Georgia Marriages 1841-1910: Brides

Nancy M. Deavours married Thomas Reavis, J. P. 05 FEb 1854 Book B page 225

Sarah Jane Deavours married James W. Baley 13 Feb 1853, Book B page 181

I know who this one is:
Rachel H. (Hariett) Deavours married P (Phillip) M. Newton, Sr. 11 Jan 1850 Book B page 112

Rachel was the dtr of Abraham J. Deavours and Abigail Davidson. I have nine children for Rachel and Phillip.

Abraham and Abigail also had dtrs names Nancy and Sarah Jane, but I have them married to someone else.

I have Sarah Jane Deavours married to James Ransom Fowler and she dying at age 19 in 1863. She was living in her widowed mother's home in 1860, as Sarah Fowler with her 5 months old twin baby girls. From one of the descendants I was given information that Sarah Jane is buried at the old Deavours school house site under a large oak on Deavours Hill Road, Fayette Co. AL. her husband allegely died in the Civil War in 1863.

I have Nancy married to William Melvin John Enis and have 4 children for them. They married Dec. 6. 1856. They were in Fayette Co. AL by 1860.

Can anyone identify these two Deavours females? Who were their parents?
