Thank you for the info. I knew about some of the history. Just not how or approximately when the different variations of the spelling took place.

The movie was quite interesting. It did not get into a lot of theaters for some reason even though they spent a considerable amount of money making it (the productions values are very good). I'm sure it will be out on DVD soon. Of course, there are many different opinions as to whether the story is true about who actually created Shakespeare's works, but it is an interesting one to consider.
