This is my line. I have researched Samuel and Elizabeth Farmer's descendants thru court records and other documents. Do you have any information about him in Maryland? They had a son Joshua Deaver, b. 1787, Samuel b. about 1788 and other children that I cannot find proof of their names. Joshua married Rebecca Hauser and Samuel married her sister Susannah Hauser in 1814 in Rowan Co NC. Court records show that Samuel died about 1801 and Elizabeth remarried to William Weaver in Rowan County NC shortly after. They had a child, Amos Weaver, who in later court records show that Joshua was a brother to Amos. Subsequently, Joshua's brother Samuel died in 1820, and court records showing guardianships about his children with Susannah.

There is confusion about another Samuel who married Cloha (Jarvis) in 1820, but this is not the child of Samuel and Elizabeth. There is also a William Deaver in the 1810 Rowan Co Census and I believe they are related to each other.

I'm trying to go a generation further back with Samuel Deaver. Do you know where in MD he was born or lived before he arrived in Rowan Co for the tax records?
