Thanks for your reply. After looking through my records I find that William S. Debord did marry three times. The marriages are recorded in the marriage books of Limestone County, Alabama as follows. (1) William S. Debord/ N.J. Johnson 02 Oct. 1881, (2) W.S. Debord/ Amanda Boyd 12 Jul. 1891, (3) W.S. Debord/ Hattie Ward 11 Dec. 1900. Mandy Boyd was the mother of Annie, Jan/1893 and Mattie, Dec/1895. Della, Oct/1883, Lee (M) Apr/1885, and Willie Noah Nov/1888 must have been children of the first wife. I too believe that Mandy died on Apr 03,1900 after giving birth to the twins Mandy and Ellen, both of whom died. As you note William S. is listed as a widower in the 1900 Limestone County census. I also think that he died in 1905 instead of 1906 because a Hattie Debard married Henry Fudge on 05 Nov 1905 in Limestone County. The tombstones in Pleasant Point Cemetery are relativity new, so the dates could easily be wrong. Delly Debord, who must have been Della in the 1900 census, married G.W. White on 12 Sept 1902. Annie Deboard married William Perry 28 Dec. 1910 and Mattie Deboard married Fred Hall on 06 Dec. 1917. I hope this helps clear up some of your conflicting information. I will continue to see what I can find.
