Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has any more info on Jacob DeBoard/Debord b. 1765 d. 28 Feb 1815 Camp Buffalo, NY. That's as far as I can take my DeBoard line back so far. I've seen one listing of his father as "Bef Hold", which makes no sense to me. Is that a name or a genealogical term that I'm not familiar with?
Also, from what I know Jacob had a son named Joseph (my 5th great grandfather) who married Martha Prince. I've also found a Jesse DeBoard (born abt 1755) who is listed as having a son named Joseph who married Martha Prince. Are Jacob and Jesse the same person? Jesse's wife I have seen listed as Frances Price, but I've never seen her connected to Jacob.
