Here is some ino I've collected, but I can not vouch for it's accuracy. I have been told that James Debord married Emma Hinkle on 12 May 1901 in Wayne Co MO by JP John Gunter. The marriage application, however was in Madison Co MO on 10 May 1901. I have also been told that both parents consented to the marriage, indicating James was less than 21 yrs and Emma was less than 18 yrs. Does anyone have access to the Madison Co marriage applications that would show who the parents were?

Also, the on line records for the Beulah Cemetery in Madison Co shows a James Debord 1880 -1909. I suspect that James was born shortly after the 1880 census, since I have not found him listed in any census. I also have not found a James Debord in the 1900 census.

The Debords were very closely associated with the Hinkle family, and I'm sure these are all part of the same families.
