I find your name James DeBoard interesting because my 2xgrt grandfather was named James DeBoard born Nov 1807 in Lambeth, Surrey near London. He married a Ridler and spent the rest of his life in Gloucestershire. His daughter married, first and second two Watts brothers and eventually came to Massachusetts. There were many Johns, Georges, Roberts and James' in the line. OK, so I wonder if any of this might fit into your family tree?
