Actually, I got that info the old fashioned way before I knew what a computer was. Unfortunately, I threw away a lot of my paper trails when I transferred every thing to the computer, then when the computer crashed, I lost a lot of my source documentation. I looked at the 1900 Soundex for Kansas under the soundex code D163 and copied down everything that looked close to Debord. Let me correct something I said in my previous note. The 1900 Norton census says that Jennie was born Sept 1889 in MO, not KY as I previously said. All the rest show Ky as their birthplace including Bryan born Oct 1896. The census data is on ED 93 page 5 line 87 in the Emmett township, Norton Co KS.
I have not been able to find this family in the later censuses either.
From a book called Lincoln County Ky marriages 1850-1900 compiled by Shirley Dunn pib 1980 has Henry Debord marr Sallie A. Pollard on 19 Jan 1880.
Again, I don't know where I got the info that says Sarah A. Pollard DeBorde died ca 1932 in Kansas City MO. Sarah's parents were John William Pollard and Elizabeth Stewart; they supposedly died in Sherman Grayson Co TX.
