GAS CITY, Ind. - Franklin R. Hall, 64, of Gas City, died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2005) at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ind.

Born Jan. 24, 1940 in Jonesville, Va., he was the son of Alonzo B. and Sallie (DeBoard) Hall, who preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Dale Hall and Roland Dick Hall; and sisters, Vandetta Hall, Shirley Kay Levesay, Wanda Fritts and Nancy Gerie Pendegraph.

He was self-employed and a member of AMVETS Post 5, Marion, Ind.

He loved fishing, hunting and to show cars. He loved his grandkids.

Survivors include his daughters, Becky (Mark) Hewitt and Stephanie Hall, both of Gas City, Stacy (Will) Osborne, Marion, Ind., Cynthia Hall of Florida; two sons, Frankie Hall Jr., Jonesville, Va., and Kenny Hall, Gas City; three brothers, William (Wilma) Hall, Jonesville, Va., Adren H. Hall, Marion, Ind., Tommy (Debbie) Hall, Jonesville, Va.; one sister, Ruby (Charlie) Berry, Jonesville, Va.; grandchildren, Eric, Josh, Jenna, Stevi, Jesse, Koby, Kelsey and Natasha; great-grandchild, McKenzie.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Province Funeral Home, Pennington Gap, Va.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Millers Chapel Cemetery, Jonesville, Va.

Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Local arrangements were handled by Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 400 East Main St., Gas City, Ind.
