An obituary mentioning an unknown Debord

Does anyone know who this Mark DeBord is that is mentioned as her son? No mention of her previous husband's name who must have been a DeBord. The obvious link would be one of the Abijah Debord group--for geographical reasons--but I cannot make the connection. Hallie

POWELL, Tenn. Patricia Jennings Hurd, 60,
died Wednesday (Dec. 13, 2000) at her home.

She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Mrs. Hurd was preceded in death by her father,
William G. Jennings.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Roberta Baker
Jennings; her husband, Donald E. Hurd, Powell; one
son, Mark Debord and wife Patti, Richmond, Va.;
one daughter, Lisa Gencay and husband, David,
Powell; five grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah and
Logan Gencay, Lauren and Jake Debord; five
brothers, Billy, Sam, D.G., Gary and Richard
(Sonny) Jennings; two sisters, Dottie Jennings and
Eleanor Felton; several nieces and nephews and
many other family and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
today at the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, a gift may
be given to the Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church
Life Center.

Weaver Funeral Home, Knoxville, Tenn., is in
charge of arrangements.
