Clara or Serepta was d/o Thomas Debord (1843-bef April 1918) and Sarepta Dixon (maiden name maybe Ward). This family shows in the 1880, 1900, 1910 census for Quincy, Adams Co IL. and 1920 census for Cook Co.
Clara (Sarepta) was counted twice in 1910 census, once with her father and once with her sister Mattie or Hattie. Another sister, Estella Rogers was living next door. Both Clara and Estella are listed as widows; both of Estella children born CA and father of David J. Sibley born CA; but David born IL. Sarepta Debord filed for widow's pension in 1918 for Thomas's service in Co B 3rd Mo Cav. Thomas had also filed in Jan 1865, which may indicate he may have been disabled from war injuries. The pension records for Thomas and widow Serepta may shed more light on this family. I'll e-mail the census records as I copied them.
