Circumstantial evidence indicates Nancy was most likely d/o Wm and Marinah Ball Debord marr 1803. Census records indicate Wm and Marinah had 4 daughters born before 1810; all 4 seem to show in the 1820 census; and 3 of these daughters probably marr or died between 1820 and 1830. Nancy marr 1829.
The Andalusia Cemetery in Rock Island IL has tombstones for William and Marinah Debord as well as Nancy R. and J. C. Bethuram. Not sure when or who installed these tombstones, but they don't look to be a 150 yrs old. I have serious doubts that Wm Debord was actually buried in that cemetery despite what the tombstone says. Not sure when this family arrived in Rock Island. James and Nancy Bethuram show in 1860 census for Mercer Co IL as well as Marina Debord living with son Harvery. Then James marr 2nd a Mrs Ann Jones in Dec 1871 in Mercer Il. Tombstone in Rock Island says Nancy died Feb 1871 and Marinah died Aug 1865. So, this family may have moved back and forth between Mercer and Rock Island counties in IL. The History of Rock Island published 1877 mentions a Mrs J. C. Bethuram (Nancy Debord).
