I don't have this line, but it's interesting as it matches a verbal family history. The DeBorde's in my line are from Montana. However, there is a belief that the DeBordes in my line are also from Missouri.

There is a George DeBorde married to Mary E DeBorde on the 1930 Montana Census. This is my Great Grandfather. George was born in Montana not Nebraska so I dont think this is the George G that all the other DeBorde historians follow.

I have not been able to get into Missouri yet, I only know the Missouri tie from verbal family histories. According to the story, the girl indian was adopted by a Deborde, she was an indian princess. I have not been able to tie my line back to missouri so I have not lended this a whole lot of validity. My other side is Hart from missouri and I think they tie the DeBorde's in Missouri by name and marriage - not by fact.

David H Deboard show up in the 1860 Missouri census as son of Enoch Deboard born abt 1822 in North Carolina with a female Polly born abt 1833 in Tennessee - There is no indication that they were married but since there is no blank I dont know for sure.

For a lot of good information on this line you should see:
