Solomon DeBord and Joseph DeBord

Hi everyone,

I am trying to find out who my maternal grandfather is. He was an American in Vietnam in 1963 in Phu Nhuan, Saigon. We don't know what type of work he did but it did not require him to wear uniform so we think maybe he was a civilian contractor, journalist or worked with military intelligence. On FTDNA I have a suggested 2nd to 4th cousin and a suggested 3rd to 5th cousin who match my mother on chromosome 19. They both have DeBord in their ancestry. One side traces back to Joseph DeBord born in 1788 and the other Solomon DeBord 1792. We are trying to determine if these two people were brothers. If you know who my grandpa is that would be great too. I am also going to email Hurshel Debord to see if he has information that we are looking for on the Debords. Thank you for any help.

Kim Tram
