Debrow/Devereux family in MS 1850 - 2000

My gg-grandfather, Richard Devereux and his wife Sarah ? showed up in the MS 1850 census of Jackson Co. with several children. They continue to appear in the coastal area and descendants slowly moved along the coast and up to Lamar and Forrest Co. My brother and I are searching for ancestry of Richard, b. 1804 in GA - possibly to Samuel M. Devereux and wife Nancy Tarver. Any info appreciated. Nancy was a Creek Indian.
