Albert deCuire (1673-1750) is the progenitor of the DeCuir family in the United States. He migrated to Louisiana from Hainaut in 1720. The DeCuir family is planning a small reunion in the DeCuir ancestral village of Macon in Hainaut, Belgium in the summer of 1998. See and link to the DeCuir family page from there for more info.
