Hi,

I live in New Orleans, LA and I am researching my DeCuir ancestors. My maternal great grandfather was Joseph Nicholas Romero. He was the son of Joseph Romero and Mary DeCuir. He had several sisters: Laura, Mary, Louise, Therese, and Emily (or Amelie?). I don't know when the siblings emigrated to New Orleans, but at some point most of them did. At least Joseph, Mary, Laura, and Louise did. I don't know about the parents Joseph Romero and Mary Decuir. The Romero sisters married into the Molless, Revol, Morton, and Delahoussaye families. They are buried in New Orleans in Metairie Cemetery.
