Hello Carlo. I am a Decuir and Olivier descendant. I would appreciate it if you could forward to me the pictures you have. I'm sure they are my relatives. Hyacinthe Olivier left La. in the mid 1800's to go to Vera Cruz, Mexico. A lot of others did also. It was because they were Creole Americans and were discriminated against by the US because of their multiracialism. I don't know what relation your Eusebe is to my Godfroi Decuir, Louis and Balthazar Decuir, but that is where I am connected. In the Olivier line, I am related to Hycinthe, he was the son of my great great great grandfather, Hugh Charles Honore Olivier who owned the Sugar Plantation in Olivierville. Hyacinthe, His brother who stayed in Louisiana was Louis Dubreuil Olivier, my great great grandfather. I would love to get information of my ancestors. Thank you. Do you know about the proposed canonization of Mother Henriette Delille as a saint. Her great neice, Angela Vincent, married a Simeon Decuir. So we are all related to her and so are you.Would you send me your new e-mail address.
