*John Deadman Sr., born about 1595 in Suffork County, Cavendish, England. *His son, John Deadman Jr., born about 1631 in Suffork County, England.
*His son, Thomas Deadman I.Thomas I was born about 1651 in Suffork County, England and died 1710 in Patapsco Maryland.He married Margaret about 1714 in Maryland.
John Sr., John Jr., John III and Thomas I were immigrants. They came to America on the Good Ship Charles in 1674. My line descends from John Sr., John Jr. and Thomas.
Child of Thomas and Margaret Deadman was:
*Thomas Deadman Jr., born about 1690 in Patapsco, Maryland and died 1771 in Davie County, North Carolina.He married Sarah Edmond about 1720.Child of Thomas Jr. and Sarah was:
*Edmond Deadman, born 1724 in Baltimore Maryland and died 1813 in Rowan County, Maryland.He married Elizabeth Corbin in 1753 in Baltimore.She is the daughter of Nicholas and Eleanor Corbin. Nicholas is the son of Edward Corbin and Jane Wilkinson.
Edmond and his family migrated to Rowan County, North Carolina in 1764.Child of Edmond and Elizabeth was:
*William Deadmond, born 1760 in Baltimore and died 1837 in Davie County, North Carolina.He married Blanchy.
Children of William and Blanchy are:
*Thomas (my ancestor)
*Elijah
*Elinore
*Rebecca
*Elizabeth, who married Benjamin Martin in 1833 in Rowan County, North Carolina.
William 's son, Thomas, is my ancestor, Thomas Deadmond, born 1784 inNorth Carolina. He migrated to Virginia and married Elizabeth Milliron in Bedford County, VirginiaHe had several children born in Orange County, North Carolina and at lease one born in Bedford County, Virginia.Thomas migrated to Marion County, Illinois by covered wagon in 1827 and died there in 1851. He changed the spelling of his name from Deadman to Deadmond.
