Mary Deen Grundy Co. Illinois 1880

I have an 1880-1890 photo of three young ladies. One is identified as Mary Deen. Others in the photo are my great grandmother Mary Ann Scoggin and a lady identified as Mary Dialling(?). Photo is captioned "the three Marys". Apparently they were "running buddies" and are all dressed up in victorian garb, including hats, of that period. Can anybody out there tell me anything about grandmas friends? She grew up in Grundy County, Illinois. Thanks.
