C.C. (Cicero) Dean married my Father's 1st cousin, Mary Isabel Nettles, in Leon Co., TX 1 Oct 1899. (Leon Co Marriage Book C, Page 250.)

I know one daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Deen, married 'Frank' Coldiron and lived around Buffalo in Leon County. (they were buried in Rock Prairie Cemetery in Madison Co., TX)

However, I only recently discovered other children, Calvin, Virginia, Francis, Thomas and D. Dean, in a legal notice pertaining to right of way for Interstate 45 taking in a part of the Bethel Durant Survey south of Buffalo.

Where did the Cicero Deen family disappear to, who did their children marry, when, where, etc would help me complete the Bethel Durant history.

Any and all help is sincerely appreciated.

Melton E. Durant - a Leon Co native Nettles/Deen descendant cousin.
Jacksonville, TX
