Don, I am wondering since this is an old post.......did you find the parents of William H Deen? They were in Ga at one point. Do you have anything on their being in SC. My John Marion Dean was born 1831 Ga and his parents were fron SC. Don't know parents or sibs, but he named his first son William Henry Dean. His oldest daughter was Georgia May whose name was spelled Deen in the marriage records. Would be happy to hear anything that might help us. Thanks. Did any of your family do Y-DNA? Ours did.
