Hello Andrew,
I am a Deer ancestor. My 2nd great grandparents were Deers (David Deer and Harriet) I don't know Harriet's maiden name. David was born in England about 1820 and immigrated to Ontario, CAN sometime between 1850 and 1871. I have no information at all about my Deer ancestors. I have no parents for David Deer, but he may have had a brother named Edward. I have found an Edward Deer in about the same area in Canada.

The 1871 Ontario Census shows David was English and he was a farmer. That's all I know, and oh.. that he was a Baptist.

I have very little on my Deer family but I will share the little I have.

Best regards,
Myrna
