Thx, you are right, I had my wires crossed from an incorrect old document.

This is a quickie of what line I am tracing:
James Hardy Sr (b1786) m. Mary Alice Rodgers (b1787), one of their sons was:
Hansford (b1814) who m. M.Elizabeth Houston (b1817), one of their sons was:
John (b1842) who m. Eliza (or Elizabeth?) (b1844), one of their sons was:
Joseph Hansford (b1864) who m. Martha Almilda (Armilda?) Bennett (b1870).

This last info on Joseph and Martha (my great grandparents) was from a Family Bible we have.

Do you, by any chance, know who James (b1786) Hardy Sr's parents were?
