Do you know if any of your Deer/Dear ancestors went to Ontario, Canada? My grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Deer d/o David and Harriett (?) Deer lived in Collingwood, Ontario. Mary was born June 10, 1867. She had five sibling.

It is interesting to learn that the spelling of the name changed. Maybe I've been using the wrong spelling and that is why I can't seem to get anywhere on this research.

Mary married George Taylor, by the way, and they moved to Alberta, Canada.

It would be great to find out if there are ties here.

Warm regards,
Myrna
