Hello. I do not know about Frederick Deer except that he married Hannah Posey Paine after her husband, John L. Paine died. I am a descendant of Charlotte Paine, b. 1808 in MS, but lived most of her life in Baton Rouge, LA. I have this info about Frederick Deer from someone in Texas who went to Louisiana. He said Hannah was buried in the Paine family plot in Magnolia Cemetery in Baton Rouge. Also there was her son Charlie and her daughter-in-law Sarah Carpenter Paine (wife of John C. Paine). My ancestor Charlotte's brothers were John C. Paine, b. about 1805-1810; Ferdinand C. Paine (Mexican War hero), b. 1806; and George W. Paine.
