Hello, I am researching Nellie and Susan Deer lineage and would greatly appreciate information you have on them. Trying to find the Native American connection and who their parents and husbands/partners were.

I am connected to them through Nellie's daughter, Augusta Deering who married Jessie A. Millner (1st husband, they had 12 children)and Robert W. Dallas (2nd husband, they had 1 child). Augusta is listed as "Anna G." in the census records and was also known as "Anna Augusta Deering". One of her daughters, Pearl Millner married George Washington Galloway. Their children are: Jessie J., George A., John T., Odaris G., Carrie B., Hattie P., Virginia D., Beulah, Geneva, and Orlando.

My twin sister, Caryl, is married to James Frank Townsend, son of Odaris Garfield Galloway & John Hubert Townsend. I am researching Deer/Deering and its many branches. If you have information to share, I would be most grateful.

Thanks!
Cheryl (Bullis) Hipke
