Dear Claudia,
I have not been working on my family for awhile, started in again. I noticed that I gave you an incorrect spelling on Deetz as it was spelled in Ohio. Henry's last name was Dietz. I am so sorry. I found a note in my mother's file that states: according to DeKalb County History, printed 1974 or 77 (can't read her writing), The Henry Dietz family formerly lived in Pennsylvania and migrated to Ohio. One of the 14 children, Adam Dietz, accompanied his parents to Holmes county til the fall of 1853, then he came to Fairfield township in DeKalb County.
