I am in search for Frank Defazio DOB 11-09-1936. He was born in Wakefield, Ma. His parents were Frank, Jr. DOB 03-29-1904 and Vera B. Defazio DOB 11-01-1901, both from Wakefield Ma. Frank, Jr. died 01-17-1967 and Vera B. died 03-02-1984 they are both buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield/Funeral was at Goodrich Funeral Parlor.
They owned two homes:
1) 6 Lakeview Ave, Wakefield. This one they gave to their son Frank (only child) and his wife Anne Hennessy- married August 30, 1957, at 1st Baptist Church, Wakefield. They divorced in 1961 in a Boston court. They had 2 children Gail (dob12-1958) and Paul (me, DOB 4-8-1960) both of born at Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. Frank apparently sold this home.
In 1967/68 Frank Defazio signed custody over to Arthur Orben (my mothers new husband) and our names were changed. This took place at Woburn,Ma. District Court.
2nd). Home was located at 46 Breezy Hill Tr. Nahant, Ma. the parents Frank, Jr. and Vera lived there until they each died. Frank, Jr. in 1967 and Vera in 1984. Vera actually died at Oxford Manor Nursing Home in Haverhill. Frank their son sold this home in 1985 to a David Hughs.
Frank Defazio, DOB 11-9-1936, went to Wakefield Hs. and graduated in 1953. He went to Emerson College for radio broadcasting, he was also an airlines ticket agent, and was fired from a bank. The funeral home has last address for him at their house in Nahant, and the cemetery only has a phone # for contact and Franks name. The # is 581-1958 apparently an wakefield exchange, but the # belongs to someone else now.
Frank Defazio, Winthrop Highlands, Ma. (with same age, 65) does appear on some searches w/o an address or phone # and their are no listings available for him.
If anyone can help me locate Frank Defazio I would be so grateful. I have been searching for along time. I can find things about his parents ancestry, but unable to locate him.
Sincerely, Paul Defazio
PS. Someone told us he went to Ca. in the years between 1961-1967 but do not know if he return there after his fathers funeral.
