Hello all,
I'm wondering if the book you're talking about is golden colored with the DeHerrera Crest on the front? If so, my mom compiled that and is in the process of adding MUCH more information to it.
Ron, we've traced the DeHerrera's to Chamita and Mora New Mexico back to the mid 1700s
MANY of the DeHerrera's moved to Colorado in the early 1800s. My mother and father's lines (both DeHerrera) moved to Colorado and I believe my father's line lives very close to Monte Vista... is Center nearby?
If you look in phone books you will see MANY Herrera's. We are of the same line... Rose can attest to that. We descovered that we're related through our great grandfathers.
Well, I'd love to correspond with you. If you have the time to write, please do. My address is dianeddg@yahoo.com.
