Oops, my apoligies for that. I thought that I was replying on top of my prior post rather than the original one you had made. I'll have to look into the hidden email address issue in a bit.

Someone active on these boards has been kind enough to help us trace some of our Ripabottoni heritage on the DeJulio side, but as far as I can tell there does not seem to be any connection between our family and yours. Most of the siblings of our Leonardo seem to have either remained in Ripabottoni or settled here in New Rochelle. He himself was born in Ripabottoni in 1884 and died in 1973 in New Rochelle. The Ellis Island records have so many trascription errors too that we finally found his record under "DeTulio", having arrived in New Rochelle at 17 years old. His father's name was Giacomo.

We do not have any relatives in Watertown or Colorado according to any research I've done or been given. My mother seems to recall that someone named Nick DeJulio from New Rochelle had a son named Ricky that moved out to either California or Colorado years ago. He'd likely be in his 70s now if still living.
