This was written three years ago and much has been learned since then. Leonardo DeJulio probably didn't go to Colorado himself. We now have proof that he came to this country in 1790 on the ship Nuestria with 12 other Roccolane men and went to New Rochelle, New York. Various ships manifests show different relatives stating they are going to see Leonardo in New Rochelle as late as 1902 but eventually he returned to Roccacaramanico.
If anyone has info on his date of death or any marriages while in this country I would like to know.
Mark, did you ever tell me how your family fits into the Montrose chart?
