I understand that each line stems from male offspring. I may have misunderstood the statement. I was trying to understand how persons with the same sir name (and same spelling)not be related somewhere along the blood line. There was a popular jazz musician with last name of DeJulio (same spelling). I can't remember his first name but I was told no relation to me. Maybe my relatives just didn't know about him.
