What I have about Barent:
Censuses - 1850 he and Sarah are living with sister Abigail and her husband David Huyler in the 9th Ward, NYC. 1860 and 1870 they are in Greenburgh, Westchester Co NY. 1880 they are in Troy, Rensselaer Co NY. 1892 Barent is alone at 31 Ten Broeck St, Albany NY (census taken 16 Feb).
City directories - in Troy until about 1890 when they moved to Albany.
Probate - (I don't have a copy) letters of administration issued 23 Jun 1899 Albany (file #993)
Harvey M must have been born after 7 Aug 1850 when the census was taken since he wasn't listed.
Huyler C. - 1894 Albany city directory says he moved to New York (need to go look at this again, maybe it was Barent who moved to NY), but he is listed in the Albany city directory in 1897 as manager of Huyler's Candy store.
William H - married Marian Ryan (ca 1871-ca 1839?) about 1893. 1895 Albany city directory says they moved to Buffalo. Son Charles Coulter born in Buffalo on 15 Jul 1894 (from Amherst College records - google Coulter DeKlyn). Marian married (2) David Huyler (son of John Seys Huyler)10 Jan 1910 Calvary Methodist Church in NYC. No children from second marriage. Haven't tracked son Coulter down yet.
Elizabeth B. - born about 1873
Sorry, no family pictures. I'd certainly like to track some down.
I want to check out the Mary Bird to whom Barent and Sarah sold land in 1869 since Bird/Byrd is one of the names my grandfather mentioned.
