My name is Yolande Marie de la Loire Bourgeois. I saw your posting regarding de la Croix. My great grandmother was Marie Camille Dusuau de la Croix. She was born 8/9/1839 in St. Martinville, La. She was the daughter of Joseph Dusuau de la Croix and Marie Estelle Isabelle d'Espagnet deBlanc. The de la Croix family was very prominent in the New Orleans area, before moving to St. Martinville.
She married Jean Baptiste Marie Vliianueva y Baroso de la Loire on 4/16/1863 in St. Martinville. They had 3 children.
Hope there is a connection between these two families. Would love to share information. Thank you.

Marie Bourgeois
